Toronto Student Film Festival organizers announced today that it is now taking film submissions and tickets are now on sale. High school students are invited to enter short films, at no charge, between now - March 31, 2008.
The TSFF is focused on youth achievement in media arts. Since its inception in 2006, this prestigious festival has received hundreds of submissions from Canada and around the world, giving students a voice to tell their stories. Open to youth 21 & under, the festival features short films across a range of genres from documentary, drama, animation, comedy, etc. Full details are available at http://www.tsff.ca/.
Prizes include a 4 day CTV "internship," $1,500 tuition to a New York Film Academy Digital Filmmaking Workshop, numerous cash awards, on-line feature on the "CitizenShift" web site, Canada's own on-line media community for social change - plus other film-related prizes.
